It is the most complicated question type, the options are grouped in a number of arrays. There is one primary matrix and up to 4 additional matrices appended to the right.
- Scale of Rating: the label of rating to the options, like Very Good, Good, Bad, Very Bad. The scales are separated by “;”, so the scale is written as “Very Good;Good;Bad;Very Bad”.
- Cell width: the width of each cell is assigned here. It can be in number (pixel) or percentage and separated by “;”.
Question types for primary matrix:
There are five question types and work similarly to their standard counterparts except some advanced features are omitted like Jump and Action are not available for Radio Button; Uniqueness for Checkbox; and Textbox is just a plain text input without any checking feature.
Question types for additional matrix:
There are six types of question here, and all work exactly as in primary matrix except the Radio Buttons – Vertical. For this question type, the scales are listed in one column, side by side with the options. It can be used like “Which option is the best?”.
